Math sizes & styles

Can a math layout like the one of the attached image be obtained with TeX? I think it is impossible. The size of the fractions is slightly smaller than that of the main text, and the script sizes for both of them are the same. When is it planned to make configurable the hardwired set of math styles as well as the tree of math style changes, if planned at all? In this example the changes from the main style to fractions and scripts would need to be decoupled. Happy Christmas Javier A. Múgica

Hi Taco, Pino (in cc) found that luatex does not build on GNU/Hurd, but some simple changes does fix that. You might add that to luatex itself. order of node linking matters

Dear Colleagues, the following code fails assertion (luafont.c, line 1950). But it is enough to transpone last two lines of lua code to avoid it. assigment to node fields ignored

Colleagues, some luatex revisions ago I realised that assigments to pdf_refobj nodes are ignored. The following assertion fails: \directlua{ local ref = node.new(node.id "whatsit", node.subtype "pdf_refobj") ref.objnum = 1 assert(ref.objnum) }\end By compiling and trying several revisions back, I found that it is so sice rev3229. Is the pdf_refobj whatsit intentionally not writable? By the way, due to the change of pdf metatable, assignments to pdf library table, pdf.whatever = true assert(pdf.whatever) are ignored since rev3206.
