serial letters

How would you approach serial letters, e.g. to all members of a club? (Actually I need to send out donation receipts.) I’d like to use the letter module, since my usual letter design is using it. I can export the addresses to CSV, JSON, Lua tables or whatever or transfer them to a SQLite db. Would it make more sense to read them in Lua and combine this data with a buffer, or to write a single tex file for every letter? I know how to do the latter, but I’d like to learn a more ConTeXt-ish way. Would it make sense to use the bibliographies module? Status of Asymptote

Dear all, I'd like to know what is the status of Asymptote in Context. To my knowledge, metapost/metafun only support 2D (except with the additional libraries from Roegel, which would have to be cleaned up a bit). Otherwise, what shall be used for 3D drawings in Context? TikZ? Something else? Thanks in advance. Alex

Firefox doesn't show the "yes", nor Acrobat X, but SumatraPDF does. I modified your definition as: \definefield[test][check][cbox][][] And now the "yes" doesn't appear. Chemistry in LMTX

I tried to update https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Chemistry, since nearly all of the links were dead, and I couldn’t find any documentation about \chemical / \startchemical. In the wiki page you can see that there’s still some working code for chemistry, but it looks very broken. ppchtex.mkiv is apparently still code from 1996 (and can’t work, since neither PicTeX nor PStricks are supported in LMTX any more). chem-str.lua seems to be an updated version by Alan & Hans Did I miss something? Bug? Text following columns at end of page goes into footer not next page

Two column text that ends near the foot of a page can push the next line into the footer rather than starting a new page. formula alignment for mathalign

Hi, The `align` parameter of `\setupformulas` is ignored in mathalign. Consider the following MWE: \setupformulas[align=flushleft,leftmargin=2em] \starttext \startformula A = B \stopformula vs \startformula \startalign \NC A \NC B \NR \NC A \NC B \NR \stopalign \stopformula \stoptext The first display formula is flush left, but the aligned formula is centered on the page. This appears to be a regression compared to MkIV, where the above example works correctly. Aditya

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setuppapersize[A6] \setupitemgroup [itemize][1] [ before={\blank[.125th]}, after={\blank[.125th]}] \starttext one \startblockquote \startitemize \item a \stopitemize \stopblockquote two \stoptext The blockquote disables the space after the list, but not before.
