Issues with included images on some epub readers

Hi, I'm not sure whether the following is an issue with ConTeXt or with the epub readers I'm using; my apologies for the noise if it's not relevant to this list! I was experimenting creating ebooks with ConTeXt, and found it works very well on most epub readers (except with Calibre, as was previously reported on this list) as far as text is concerned, although I am having issues displaying images. Images appear correctly in the exported html file when opened with Firefox or Chromium, so I suspect the issue may either come from difference in specs for the epub and html formats or from bugs in the epub readers I have tried (Mupdf, Koodo, and Foliate). I am not very familiar with the epub format specs so I don't have a good feel for where the issue may come from. It seems that manually adding <img alt="image-1" src="../images/test-exported-1.svg"> in the .html file makes it appear with recent epub readers, though. Is it possible to have the html output generated by ConTeXt include images in this way (or tune the way images are included in another way which may work better with recent epub readers)? Run-in heading problem with \startparagraph and empty lines

Hello list, Why is an empty after \startparagraph treated differently when the \startparagraph directly follows a heading with alternative=text than when there is no heading before, or a different type of heading, as shown in the following example? \setuphead[section] [alternative=text, style=\it] \starttext \startsection[title=Run-in heading] \startparagraph Works with no blank after \tex{startparagraph} \stopparagraph \stopsection \startsection[title=Run-in heading] \startparagraph Fails with a blank after \tex{startparagraph} \stopparagraph \stopsection \stoptext With every other heading alternative there appears to be no difference in the output. -- Rik

How to get enumerated tables to line up with the left edge of text?

I created this simple example to show, when I add enumerations to my tables, its indenting the content. How can I stop this indentation from happening? Why isn't font changing inside tabulate environment?

I need to make a symbol, checkmark, appear inside a table. It is from a different font. If I use this, it displays the checkmark in the document: {\switchtobodyfont[garamondsymbols, 12 pt]✔} But inside a tabulate environment, it stops displaying the checkmark. [ extra line in last tabulate column ]

playing with dates

Dear list, I would like to be able to design some calendars. Is there any way to have a command (Lua or ConTeXt) that can increase or decrease a given date by days (something like \nextday or \previousday). I have tried \date and \increment or \decrement, as shown in the wiki: \starttext Today is \currentdate. \dorecurse{25} {\increment\normalday} Tomorrow will be \currentdate. \decrement\normalday %\increment\normalmonth% -- gives an error \increment\normalyear And today in a year will be \currentdate. \stoptext But the main problem is that I end up having the improbable day of December 41st, 2024 (with \decrement\normalday, it would read -9th). Besides, \normalmonth cannot be incremented or decremented (although this would be useless for me). Is there any way to get a command that can increment or decrement by days a given date? log messages with logs.reporter

Hi, is it configurable which log messages are shown in the console output or in the log file? Because, with local report = logs.reporter("DOWNSAMPLE") I can see my messages in console output but not in the log file. That’s a bit unfortunate for debugging. Hraban

Vertical space between section and subsection.

Hi, I use the following code to make a class material. When I use \startcolumns … \stopcolumns, the vertical space between section title and subsection title so big. 1. Is there a way to reduce the vertical space between them? 2. Is there a way to make section command simpler? Thank you for reading. [ pdf images upside down in firefox ]

This is most likely an issue with firefox, but i noticed that when i create a file with z serie of images, the pdf shows correct in my local gnome document viewer (42.3) but when I vew the same file in firefox, for some unknow reasom the images are upside down. When I download the pdf, then view it with the local document viewer, the images are correct. When I drag the pdf into firefox, the turn upside down again.
