white-space after section-head in columns

Hi, What is the right way please to get normal white-space after a section in columns, i.e. not too much? context --ctx=s-mod not working?

Hi list! I've tried context --ctx=s-mod with some files, e.g. t-annotation and I only get corrupted PDF files. Also, when I try with files such as syst-aux.mkiv, I get the following error after a L O T of warnings: \wait tex error > tex error on line 4554 in file syst-aux.mkiv: ? <read *> \wait ->\begingroup \read 16 to \wait \endgroup \installsystemnamespace ...??#1\endcsname \writestatus \m!system {duplicate system namespace '#1'}\wait \else \global \advance \c_syst_helpers_n_of_names... l.4554 \installsystemnamespace{extraevery} <empty file> Is it a bug or am I missing some additional settings? Incorrect placement of a table with LMTX

Hello, In my lessons, I often have to include tables, figures, ... in definitions, theorems ... With the context engine it works fine but not with lmtx. Thanks for your help. What does #+ do?

Hi list! In evenmore pp. 76-77, concerning LMTX extended macro parsing, the following examples of #0, #+ and #- are given \def\TestA#1#2#3{{(#1)(#2)(#3)}} \def\TestB#1#0#3{(#1)(#2)(#3)} \def\TestC#1#+#3{(#1)(#2)(#3)} \def\TestD#1#-#2{(#1)(#2)} So \TestA1{\red 2}3 \TestB1{\red 2}3 \TestC1{\red 2}3 \TestD1{\red 2}3 give (1)(2)(3) % red from "2" onward (1)()(3) (1)(2)(3) % only "2" is colored (1)(3) What I guess is that #+ pass an argument, grouping braces included (the report says an argument is passed "as-is"). I see it as really useful. But, apart from the example above, are there any other differences between doing, say, \def\foo#1#2#3 and \def\foo#+#+#+{#1#2#3}? Thank you very much. Cordially, Jairo :)

Chapter numbering that does not follow a regular pattern

Hi there, I have a situation where numbered chapters are occasionally interspersed with unnumbered chapters, so, for example, it might be: 1 First chapter title with number second chapter title unnumbered 2 Second chapter title with number 3 Third chapter title with number ----------- Now, I can achieve what I want by putting something like the following for a 'normal' chapter (by which I mean one that needs to be numbered, but would otherwise be out of sequence): \chapter[title={\sc My chapter title that needs a different number},ownnumber=2] And in the case of the interspersed 'other' chapter (that is, the one that follows Chapter 1 numbered, still needs a title, but no number, and therefore breaks the normal number increment), I define 'mychapter' in the initial setup, then: \mychapter[title={\sc MY UNNUMBERED CHAPTER TITLE},number=no] ----------- But I was wondering if there was a way that I could achieve the result I want in the initial setup for the two different kinds of chapters. If it were a regular pattern, e.g. 1 chapter, unnumbered chapter, 2 chapter, unnumbered chapter, that might be easier to do, but in the situation I am dealing with, there is not this regularity. You may well tell me that since I can achieve what I want as described above, that should suffice. I will be happy to have that confirmed. On the other hand, someone may have a more elegant suggestion in the initial setup that enables me to call in the specific kind of chapter I need at the time in a simpler way. Julian

Iterate over color scheme in ConTeXt/Lua

Hi, list. I've got a question about color schemes in ConTeXt What if want to access the entire list of, say, xwi: for k,v in pairs(xwi_list) do --Supposing xwi_list is contains xwi colors (whatever action I want) end So far I'm manually setting colors from colo-imp-xwi.mkiv, but I suspect there's a less manual method. About alternative=middle in section heads

I've realized ConTeXt now puts the section label and section number above the section title whe alternative=middle is set. How to disable this behavior so one can have a section label and number next to a centered section title? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Jairo :)

Broken PDF with latest MkIV

Hi, I just installed the latest ConTeXt MkIV (LuaTeX 2.06 20200706 + ConTeXt MkIV 2020.07.09 14:51) to check if the CG journal will look the same as with my "old” installation (LuaTeX 1.11 7215 + ConTeXt MkIV 2020.01.30 14:13). All looks well in Preview.app and PDF Studio 2019, but Adobe (Reader DC and Acrobat Pro 9) can’t open the new PDF. I’ll try to cook up a MWE. Does anyone else experience problems with Adobe apps? pdf tagging for accesbility

Hello. Is there any way to pdf-tag table headers to assist screen readers and the like? I can get tagging in general and thought that natural tables would work because of \bTABLEhead ... \eTABLEhead would do the job, but it doesn't. I'd appreciate any feedback.
