Hi, In a math text book, I would like to create an index of some material where chapter and section numbers are given instead of a page number. For instance if the result « 3.2.5 Banach Fixed Point Theorem » is stated in section 2 of chapter 3, and is the fifth numbered statement in that section, I would like to create a \myindex command so that adding the command \myindex{Banach Fixed Point Theorem} at that location, I get in the index created by \myindex a line such as Banach Fixed Point Theorem 3.2.5 Is this possible? How to define the font size of the page header?

Hi Folks, Sorry for the constant interruptions, but I can't find an answer in any of the many PDFs or webpages I can find. How do I define the font size of the page header? If I'm not using a custom font, I can call \switchbodyfont prior to calling \setuplayouttext, which, if I'm honest, seems weird, but it doesn't work if I use a custom font. eg: \definefontfamily [dejavu] [serif] [DejaVu Serif] \definefontfamily [dejavu] [sans] [DejaVu Sans] % Uncomment this and the page header font size drops dramatically. % \setupbodyfont[dejavu] % This seems to define the size of the page header, if \setpbodyfont is not called. \switchtobodyfont[50pt] \setuplayouttext [header][text] [ style=small, middletext=Page Header, righttext=\pagenumber, rightstyle=bold ] \switchtobodyfont[8pt] \starttext \input ward.tex \stoptext I half expected the 'style' property to be involved in this, but I can't get that to do anything either :-( How do I define the font size in a page header defined using \setuplayouttext ? issue attaching remote files

Hi Hans, I have the following sample: \setupinteraction[state=start] \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=1em] \attachment [file={https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/% ES/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:02010L0040-20180109}, name=one.pdf, color=orange] \attachment [file={https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/% ES/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:52011DC0144R(02)}, name=two.pdf, color=magenta] \stopTEXpage \stoptext Because of the parentheses in the file address, the second file isn’t attached, due to the use of parentheses (sorry, but I cannot avoid this in their address). curl is also unable to download the second file unless an output name is specified (with --output or -o). Would it be possible that ConTeXt could handle the second address with parentheses to attach the file to a PDF document? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

Formatting in the toc

In the body of document, I often have a heading such as this: \subject{{\bf Hymn 387} \hfill {\it The Lord's my Shepherd}} When it arrives in the Table of Contents, the bold and italic have been stripped off. My question is: How do I copy to ToC the formatting as well as the content of the text? I would be grateful for an answer, or to be pointed to where I could learn more. Strange error with combination of itemization, footnote and \crlf

Hello, here is a minimal sample which doesn't compile: ---- \starttext \startitemize \item A\footnote{% B \startitemize \item C \stopitemize }\crlf D \item E % <<<< This sample compiles when this line is commented (?!) \stopitemize \stoptext ---- The error message is: " ... ...eta/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/mkiv/strc-num.lua:465: attempt to index a nil value (local 'd') 2 \startitemize 3 \item 4 A\footnote{% 5 B 6 \startitemize 7 \item C 8 \stopitemize 9 }\crlf 10 D 11 12 >> \item E % <<<< This sample compiles when this line is commented 13 \stopitemize 14 \stoptext 15 " When the "\item E" is commented, the sample compiles successfully. ConTeXt version: "ConTeXt ver: 2019.10.11 15:47 MKIV beta fmt: 2019.10.16 int: english/english". Any idea what's going wrong? Best regards, Lukas

Bad cooperation between \unit and TABLE

Hi all, I came across the problem with bad aligment of cells in natural tables (longer MWE below): When I use \unit for better typesetting of units, lines 6, 6a, 8 and 9 are sloppy-aligned -- first, the alignmentcharacter is ignored, secondly the very huge space appears between e.g. m and 2. It seems that it happens at any time when the exponent in any form is required. Moreover, the line 11 is also sloppy-aligned as a consequence of the use of \unit|\high commands because if the line 2a is active, the alignment position is computed properly and the line 11 is ok. Is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong? A5 != 210mm x 148mm ?

Hi, If A5 is 210mm x 148mm (and the internet assures me that it is <https://papersizes.io/a/a5>), then shouldn't these two setuppapersize variants give the same result? They don't *seem* to. %\setuppapersize[A5] \setuppapersize[height=210mm, width=148mm] \starttext \input ward.tex \stoptext The reason I ask is because I'd like to prepare a PDF for printing via IngramSpark, and have discovered that (bizarrely) their Australian branch doesn't support A5 for colour books. They do offer 6x9 (229x152), and I was wondering what values to use in 'setuppapersize', so I thought I'd experiment with the A5 sizing because it's a well known size. ASCII mode within \footnote

Hello, the following code doesn't compile: ---- \starttext \startasciimode %@$\stopasciimode A \footnote{\startasciimode %@$\stopasciimode} % <<<< Try to comment this \stoptext ---- When the line with \footnote is commented, compilation works fine. What's "evil" in \footnote{\startasciimode %@$\stopasciimode}? Best regards, Lukas
