Hello, this is a probably basic question, but the following code doesn't compile: ---- \setupbackgrounds[page][background={Bkg}] \defineoverlay[Bkg][\useMPgraphic{Bkg}] \startuseMPgraphic{Bkg} externalfigure "hacker.png"; \stopuseMPgraphic \starttext Ahoj \stoptext ---- with: " >> picture ! Isolated expression. <to be read again> ; <*> externalfigure "hacker.png"; ; I couldn't find an `=' or `:=' after the expression that is shown above this error message, so I guess I'll just ignore it and carry on. " I just want to insert a picture from within MP code. What am I doing wrong? Best regards, Lukas

Hi Mojca, Hi Robert I tried to install standalone according to your instructions, but I failed one more time. I did the following steps: mkdir context && cd context rsync -ptv rsync://contextgarden.net/standalone/setup/first-setup.sh . ./first-setup.sh Then I changed the line 4049 of bin/mtxrun to local platform="openbsd6.5-amd64" but I obviously did not understand what to do next: calling env PATH="$PWD/bin:$CONTEXTROOT/texmf-$platform/bin:$PATH" MTX_PLATFORM="$platform" \ ./bin/mtxrun --script ./bin/mtx-update.lua --force --update --make --engine=luatex --platform="$platform" --texroot="$CONTEXTROOT" $@ ends quite quickly, with this output mtx-update | available platforms: freebsd freebsd-amd64 linux linux-64 linux-armhf linuxmusl-64 mswin openbsd6.5 openbsd6.5-amd64 osx-64 solaris-intel solaris-sparc win64 resolvers | tds | no 'texmf-openbsd6.5-6.4' under tree '/home/<name>/context/' which is the same output as ./first-setup.sh before the change. issue with footnote in LMTX

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupinteraction[state=start, focus=standard] \starttext a\footnote{b} \stoptext Using latest beta from MkXL (2019.10.05 14:56), link form footnote to main text body doesn’t work. Latest beta from MkIV (2019.10.05 14:45) has no issue and the footnote link works perfectly fine. Could anyone confirm this issue with links in footnotes for LMTX? passing variables/data between context and lua

Hi, I am trying to pass variables/data between context and lua. Lua would be used for calculations on data coming from context. Unfortunately I can't figure out what to do. The code below doesn't work, but is there to illustrate my idea. Any help would be much appreciated. issue with JavaScript in Acrobat

And I have an issue with it Each slide takes a full second (1000 milliseconds). But the conditional in step_clock() needs to divide the elements from transitions array by ten. Printing catchword or kustode

Hi all, Visiting a museum in Straßburg I saw an old book from Gutenbergs times where the first word of the next page was printed below the last line of the current page. The word, sometimes only a syllable of the first word from the next page, is called catchword or Kustode. They used it to ensure that they bind the pages in the right order. I think that it can also be of help if you read a book. Is this possible with ConTeXt? I could not find the word catchword, reclamans or kustode on the wiki. Hi all, I may be missing something really obvious: is it possible to change the shape of single connection lines in the flowchart module? Let’s say in the following example, I want the connection between test2 and test3 dashed and blue. Can this be done?
