The following crashes with LMTX (current version: 2020.08.03 14:25): \starttext \emph{Hola} \stoptext Log: \emphasiscorrection ->\ifhmode \ifnum \currentgrouptype =\aligngroupcode \else \expandafter \expandafter \expandafter \font_emphasis_look \fi \fi <to be read again> \egroup \egroup l.2 \emph{Hola} Is it a bug? \emph worked for older versions. Indeed. I really appreciate the fast testing of context lmtx updates because that way we can move on fast and in steps.
