Marking prereleases

Hi, although we have not yet release 1.10a, versions of 1.10a-devel are distributed with e.g. the latest tetex-beta (and I suspect fptex and miktex). Since we don't want to close the repository to the public, we need a way to mark these prereleases. This can be done automatically: We encode $DateTime$ into the version stamp of developement versions and the files containing the version stamp are automatically submitted periodically (e.g. weekly) to the repository. New config parameter: always_use_mediabox

Hi, I've just amended pdfTeX so that it recognizes the config parameter always_use_mediabox, which if set != 0 causes the pdf file inclusion to always use the MediaBox. ArtCom needs this. Missing Resources

Change 2575 by ms@artcom on 2002/11/28 12:38:35 Allow pdfTeX to handle pages without a Resources entry. These are technically invalid files, but all RIPs accept them. We replace the missing Resources with an empty dictionary as per spec. We just had such a file crash pdfTeX with a SIGSEV. Page Groups

Some of you might remember that we had problems with the handling of page groups of included pdfs. It seems we always did the right thing by ignoring them: Acrobat always displayed the file correctly and now Jaws is Acrobat-compatible. :-) The results of GhostScript 8.00 are wrong before and after pdfTeX. pdftex.version

I noticed that pdftex.version is back again because Olaf needs it. My scripts for changing the version currently don't update pdftex.version... Olaf, what do you need it for?
