And this is a needed feature? :-) I don't have code for that yet and I won't spend time on it now (the weather's to good for programming), so it'll have to wait till 1.12a (unless someone sends in a patch (Heiko? :-)). An open issue of mine is the color stack with interface
of \special{color ...}. I have already some code, but
I want to do some rewriting/rethinking of the interface.
But this can also be done in next version 1.12a.
