Thank you, Taco. Richard, I already built the Mac binaries, so there is no need for you to run the machinery. Alan, feel free to start your six machines whenever you have time ;) (Same for Thomas, Boris and Marco, but there is no urgency. There is no TLContrib 2013 and ConTeXt MKIV uses MPlib.) Just curious – what approximately is the plan with luatex & luajittex? Now that Peter made a bunch of changes in TL, it might make sense to test the builds in our scheme, no urgency though. Can you please let me/us know when it will be time to test a possibly combined build in luatex_trunk? (I would like to know a tiny bit before the release of the "combined sources" version, so that I can do some minor modifications in the scripts and test how everything works.) This standalone release now includes the various embedded library updates that happened in TeX Live since the TL2013 release. I am happy to announce a new release of MetaPost: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MetaPost 1.890 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a preliminary release in preparation for TeX Live 2014. It is main new feature is the promised ‘decimal’ number system that is now operational (but has not been tested extensively yet). Also, some of the open bugs have been fixed. Request for building LuaTeX and LuaJITTeX 0.78.2

Dear binary builders, I would like to request another batch of builds for the recently released LuaTeX and LuaJITTeX 0.78.2. Mojca PS: We fixed the problems with subversion, so there are no longer any problems if you are using client 1.8.5 or 1.9-dev. There is weird bug in Cisco hardware that was causing data loss.

luajittex

Dear builders, for those who started building too early: Luigi also released luajittex in the meantime. Based on my counting it has only been compiled by Dick and Alan for x86_64-darwin and x86_64-linux so far, so I would like to ask everyone else to try a rebuild when you have time (there is no high demand for luajittex, so that's not a high priority). The sparc-solaris and other architectures of darwin don't support building luajittex anyway, or at least they don't support cross-compiling, but we didn't have any i386-darwin user complaint so far anyway. Apart from FreeBSD binaries there are only powerpc-linux and armel-linux missing as far as luatex is concerned, but those two are probably not critical. I also have another request if any of you has time. We had some weird problems with the SVN repository. At first I was able to reproduce the problem. Then I upgraded the repository just in case and the curious thing at the moment is that only Alan is experiencing some weird network problems (on multiple machines and networks) when doing a checkout from http://svn.contextgarden.net/suite-bin/tex/amd64-freebsd. Is anyone else having a problem doing a checkout from that particular directory (or any other directory for that matter)? Thank you. Feel free to blame Alan then. I kept compiling LuaTeX binaries on an old SuSE virtual machine (version 8.x) until recently. Then the need came for a newer compiler (to be able to compile cairo) and Luigi installed a new compiler to the box. Dear binary builders, there are new versions of MetaPost and LuaTeX ready to be built. XeTeX also underwent quite some changes recently, so there might also be a new version of XeTeX released soon (but that's just my own speculation). Mojca
