Hi, I believe that there is a LaTeX package which typesets the METAPOST text in a certain font, I do not remember which. How can I typeset same Metapost logo in ConTeXt. It looks like below; [image: image.png] -- Respect, Shiv Shankar Dayal

Dear List, Looking at the log file of a compilation job, I find the following information: fonts > defining > font with asked name 'file-mainface-rm-it-1' is not found using lookup 'file' fonts > defining > unable to define 'file-mainface-rm-it-1' as 'dummy-a-0' fonts > defining > unable to define 'file-mainface-rm-it-1' as 'dummy--0' Can anyone shed some light on what I need to understand? How to allow hyphenation, only for footnotes?

My copy editor urged me to remove all hyphens from the main text of my document. I'm using: \definefontfeature[default][default][expansion=quality,protrusion=quality] \start \setupalign[nothyphenated,tolerant,hz,hanging] (text) \stop The problem is that is messing with footnotes, causing things like URLS to run off the page. How can I permit the hyphenation to appear normally, but only on the footnote text? --Joel

Guido Kühn, a design professor, caricaturist and avid manual typesetter, recently bought an old, empty cabinet for lead fonts. language not working in transliteration?

Dear list, I have the following sample: \mainlanguage[it] \starttext \usetransliteration[serbian] \definetransliteration [MySerbian] [color=red, language=de, vector={serbian to latin}] \definetransliteration [MySerbianX] [MySerbian] [color=blue] \transliterationexception[serbian to latin] {whatever}{(\currentlanguage): } \starttransliteration[MySerbian]% whatever А \stoptransliteration \transliteration[MySerbianX]{whatever А} \stoptext In both cases, current language is main language (in the sample above, "it" instead of "de"). Am I missing something here? (Sample adapted from lang-tra.mkxl.) Many thanks for your help, Pablo

workflow tool: add to git

In case you organize your ConTeXt projects in git repositories: "addtogit.py" is a little script that checks your log (or jlg) file for the local files used and adds them to the git stage. (No automatical commit so that you can check if you want these files.) Leaves out auto-generated files like "m_k_i_v_*". Error after latest update

vertical position of \overparent in concrete math

I have a formula involving \overparent to be typeset in kpfonts and concrete. There is no problem with kpfonts. But the \overparent in concrete is just too high. I can adjust the position with [distance=-1ex] . Is there a better way to adjust the position? Like using goodies (don't know how)?
